New CMA Exam Content Specification Outlines
Coming in 2015
ICMA® (Institute of Certified Management Accountants) is committed to ensuring that the topics tested on the CMA exam are current, relevant, and valid. As a result of a recent Job Analysis Study, ICMA will make adjustments to the Content Specification Outlines (CSOs) of Parts 1 and 2 of the CMA exam. A new section related to financial reporting and questions covering strategic planning will be added.
The new topics will affect approximately 10% of the CMA exam content. The CMA exam format will remain as two, four-hour parts. Each part will include 100 multiple-choice questions and two 30-minute essays.
Effective Dates
The new CMA exam CSOs will become effective January 1, 2015. ICMA will publish the new CSOs in July 2014.
Testing under the new specifications for the English exam will begin with the January/February 2015 testing window (March 2015 for the Chinese language version).
Current CMA candidates may take the English exam (or finish remaining parts) under the current specifications through October 31, 2014, or take the exam under the new specifications beginning January 1, 2015.
Candidates sitting for the Chinese language version may take the exam under the current specifications on August 2, 2014, and on November 15, 2014, or under the new specifications beginning March 2015.
Changes to the exam will automatically coincide with the testing window schedule and any completed exam parts under the current CSOs will transfer. We’re offering you advance notice of these exam changes so that you may plan your studies accordingly.
In July, ICMA will release the new CSOs, Learning Outcome Statements (LOSs), and a supplementary bibliography to assist candidates. IMA’s network of approved review course providers will have revised CMA study materials available by July 2014 (November 2014 in Chinese(

باضافة موضوعين وهما FINANCIAL REPORTING-STRATEGIC PLANNING
وتلك الموضوعات تعادل 10% من المنهج وستوزع على الجزء الاول والثانى , ولن تؤثر على شكل وهيكل الامتحان , وسوف تطبق هذه التعديلات ابتداء من يناير 2015 والمادة العلمية لتلك التعديلات سوف يتم الاعلان عنها فى يوليو 2014,والهدف من تلك التعديلات تلبية احتياجات سوق العمل
